CLASSES

Vervain hosts various workshops throughout the year at the studio in Worcestershire.

With half day, full day and two day classes available attendees can truly immerse and surround themselves with flowers.
There are classes to suit all abilities, whether you are a novice and wish to learn new skills, or a seasoned florist with a desire to be inspired and challenged. India and her team will work with each student to make sure they leave feeling fulfilled and inspired by what they have learnt.

With our Worcestershire countryside setting we are surrounded by inspiring flora, with hedgerows, woodlands and fields to wander. Our studio space is an old timber framed barn full of atmosphere and history, and the perfect backdrop for styling your work. The barn looks out to a naturalistic garden planted with unusual perennials and climbers, a gravel bed garden and large swimming pond to dip your toes in on warm summer days.

Each class begins with a walk around Vervain’s growing area, a unique space that has sprung up in and around the plant nursery on the farm. By creating new flower beds between tunnels, using old poly tunnel frames and taking over small areas of unused land we have created enough space to grow as many unusual and beautiful flowers as we can. During your class you are welcome to break from creating your work to explore the growing area to gather inspiration and extra flowers.
