Beautiful Cali poppies from my tunnel. It’s not all candy coloured flowers today though, I’m currently battling the weeds, they are rampant this year. Also the slugs & snails 🐌 are devouring everything, a number of my irises won’t flower this year because they had their stems chewed through! The sunshine is wonderful but it’s making all my roses flower in the tunnel two weeks before I need them... 🤷🏻‍♀️ the trials and tribulations of growing your own flowers. My answer today is a lot of tea & some miso toffee cookies because sometime the weeds have to win. 🍪☕️🤦🏻‍♀️
