Jess & Rick, Huntsham Court, Devon
In September last year we created flowers in the beautiful Huntsham Court in Devon for Jess and Rick. Jess and Rick's colour palette was packed with autumnal shades and textures, with burnt orange Rudbeckia, burgundy blowsy Roses and delicate cream Dahlias. Jess's bouquet was accented with speckled toad Lilies and trailing Cobaea vines.
Her bridesmaids carried bouquets and had wrist corsages both wrapped in vibrant blue silk.
In the church in the grounds of Huntsham we created two large statement urn arrangements, each with tumbling vines, golden amaranth and tall fluffy grasses.
The long tables for the wedding breakfast were decorated with central vase arrangements and vines with ivy draped along each table, intertwined around the flowers.
In the large entrance hall we wrapped wild garlands around each pillar and created natural upright meadows at the base with a matching installation piece on the fireplace.
The buttonholes were also tied with blue silk ribbon, and the groom's Scottish heritage was celebrated with a single blue thistle in his buttonhole.

Summer Garden Bridal Class
On June 19th we are holding a summer bridal class at the farm in Worcestershire where Vervain works and grows.
Summer in the garden provides us with so many beautiful flowers, from bold blowsy garden roses in every perfect shade of pink and gold to tall delicate Queen Anne's lace, the contrasts of texture and shapes are endlessly inspiring.
Join us for a day filled with the best summer has to offer, create a delicate wild bridal bouquet with garden Roses, climbing vines and speckled Poppies. Then after a leisurely lunch in the garden spend the afternoon creating an intricate centrepiece.
Head to our workshop pages for more information on this class and the other class we are holding throughout 2018.
A muted pastel palette for the perfect spring bridal bouquet.
Back in March this year I was lucky enough to be invited to hold a hand tied bouquet workshop at the lovely Wild Goose Nursery in Shropshire, my studio for the day was their recently restored Victorian glasshouse.
