When the chandeliers make rainbows on the walls you know it's going to be a good day.
This is Michelle - my beautiful summer bride, and her new husband Pete. Michelle's brief was 'chaotic and colourful' with lots of purple and orange, which was perfect for her July wedding.
Look how happy they look! Such a lovely wedding! Michelle and Pete were married at Severndroog Castle on Shooter Hill in South East London.
All the images above were taken by Frances Carlisle, Michelle and Pete's photographer.
Below are a few images we snapped while setting up on the day. There was so much colour, it was so amazing, and about 80% of the flowers used in Michelle and Pete's flowers were home grown on my flower farm.
During a recent photo shoot with the amazing India Hobson (she's the genius behind nearly all of my website images), she captured some great shots of my small tulip patch. India managed to make it look like a dutch tulip field!
This is my first year growing tulips as cut flowers. So there were only a few varieties, some great and some not so great, I also had two varieties pop up that were not quite what they were supposed to be...
Below is malaika & orange angelique two beauties that I will absolutely grow again.
Expect to see even more tulips next year! I am now hooked...
