1:1 with India at Vervain in Worcestershire
Our 1:1 class is all about curating a floristry day that is tailor made to you, including topics that you wish to cover, whether it is perfecting a skill you already have or trying something completely new.
India's style is focused towards the wild and unrestrained beauty of floristry, embracing the way flowers and foliage grow, allowing the colours and textures of her material speak for themselves. India will help you challenge yourself and your ideas, with the use of texture, colour and form, pushing you to express your personality through your work.
You will cover up to two different floral pieces of your choice per day, based on the skills you are looking to learn or improve on. This includes anything from a large scale urn and a bridal bouquet to creating a full tablescape with multiple centrepieces and styling details.
Please note if you wish to create a large scale installation piece we can only cover this in one day. India is happy to discuss what options are available to you prior to you booking the class. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss these options further.

India grows a large proportion of the flowers she uses on the farm where Vervain is based. There are beds of blooming Peonies, rows of annuals, hedges lined with hundreds of unusual daffodils and a garden full of Roses, so whatever season you choose to book your class in there will be an abundance of beautiful flowers for you to pick from. Having a growing area full of flowering plants to pick from makes all the difference, getting the opportunity to pick more blooms yourself from the flower garden is just another way that India encourages you to own the work you create.
The classes are held within a late 18th century barn on the farm, this brick and timber barn bursting with character and atmosphere will be your backdrop. With acres of land surrounding us we have the perfect opportunity to forage from the hedgerows and woodlands. There is also a large garden packed full of unusual perennials for you to wander through, while making notes of what to add to your own garden. The adjacent natural swimming pond is an added extra, so if it's a scorcher of a day feel free to bring along a swim suit and have a dip before you head home with your car full of flowers.
At an additional cost it can be arranged for a photographer to shoot you and your work on site during your class.
